Update Firmware

Follow Lazervida - How to update the firmware and update to v1.0.4 above.

Step 1

Remove the power cord.

Step 2

Remove the three screws on the acrylic plate of the mainboard.

Step 3

Connect the Panel Assembly cable to the mainboard.

Step 4

Screw the screws back and insert the key into the Panel Assembly.

Step 5

Connect the power cord and turn the key clockwise.

Step 6

Remove the cable of the laser head and the acrylic cover. Then, remove the laser head.

Step 7

Remove the screw of the probe and the screws of the laser head cap.

Step 8

Install the Beam Shutter.

Pass the cable of the Beam Shutter through the laser head.

Place the Beam Shutter into the laser head. Align the bracket of the Beam Shutter and the fixing screw holes of the probe.

Step 9

Use the Probe Screw Replacement to fix the probe and Beam Shutter.

Step 10

Put the Beam Shutter cable inside the cable trunking of the fan.

Step 11

Assemble Laser Head Cap.

Connect the Beam Shutter cable to the Laser Head Cap and ensure the cable is routed through the cable trunking.

Step 12

⚠︎ DO NOT adjust the Beam Shutter's position when it is connected to the machine.

Loosen the two screws on the Beam Shutter to move the shutter left or right and then tighten the screws.

Step 13

Test the laser output.

Determine the result of the test.

Laser beam burns through the sticker >>> Done.

Laser beam doesn't burn through the sticker >>> Go back to Step 12 to adjust the Beam Shutter's position.
